What sizes do you sell?
We carry quality children's secondhand clothing in sizes newborn through 8Y. We also carry shoes, accessories, toys, and seasonal items, with new arrivals every week.
Can I donate or sell my outgrown children's clothing and shoes to Cute as New?
Absolutely! We buy new and like-new children's clothing/shoes for ages newborn through 8Y. And we will take any donations you want to send our way!
Do you review secondhand kids’ clothing on the spot?
Rarely. We collect your items and basic information, then carefully review everything after your drop-off. Once we're finished, we'll email you an offer.
How long does it take to receive an offer?
We email offers within two weeks of your drop-off date.
How much will I get paid for my children's outgrown clothing?
You'll receive either 25% of our selling price in cash or 30% in store credit, whether your items sell or not.
How quickly do I get paid?
As soon as you accept your offer, we'll send payment via Zelle or add store credit to your account.
Does store credit expire?
Right now, store credit never expires.
Do you negotiate offers?
To keep things fair for everyone, we don't negotiate offers. That said, we work hard to ensure our pricing reflects the Essex County resale market.

What condition should my children’s secondhand clothing be in?
For the best shopping experience, we don’t buy weathered, tired, outdated, soiled, stained, or incomplete items. This includes unmatched pajamas and tags labeled with permanent markers. Name stickers are fine if they can be removed.
Do you accept secondhand toys, baby gear, or baby supplies?
We only accept brand-new and unopened toys/baby items in their original packaging.
What happens to items you don't accept?
You can take them home, or we can donate them on your behalf.
We partner with local Essex County organizations that help clothe children in our community, as well as Helpsy, a certified B Corporation dedicated to keeping textiles out of landfills.

Cute as New is located in the heart of South Orange, New Jersey, in The Co-Lab. We proudly serve families throughout Maplewood, Millburn, Short Hills, Livingston, Montclair, and Essex County.
Do you have parking?
Yes! There is free and metered street parking available along South Orange Avenue and connecting streets. You can also park in the nearby Vose Avenue or Taylor Place garages, both just a short walk from the shop.
